Advocate at the Katowice Bar Association. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. In 2015, he defended his master’s thesis entitled ‘The know-how license agreement’, which had been written under the direction of Professor Janusz Strzępka, PhD.
During his studies, he was active in the Intellectual Property Law Students’ Scientific Association as well as in the Student Legal Advice Centre of the University of Silesia as a secretary and member of the civil law section. He also gained experience as a volunteer, working as a judicial assistant at the Family and Minors Division of the Katowice-Zachód (Katowice West) District Court in Katowice. He is particularly interested in copyright law, industrial property law and commercial law. He is the author of the chapter entitled ‘The virtual world as an independent work. Creative use of computer game elements.
Machinima’ in the publication entitled ‘Law in Virtual Worlds’ edited by Katarzyna Grzybczyk, PhD. He is fluent in English. At KKP, he advises our clients mainly in the scope of intellectual and industrial property — the two fields he is passionate about and an expert in. Another important area of advisory is the sector of special activities related to the production of arms, where Bartek has been one of the key advisers for years.
